Inflammatory priming of mesenchymal stem cells: Focus on growth factors enhancement

نویسندگان

چکیده

Multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) are actively involved in reparation and inflammation processes, providing damaged tissue suppressing immune cell responses vivo. The effects mostly due to the production of a wide range paracrine factors, including growth factors immunomodulatory mediators. To induce immunosuppressive activity, MSCs primed by inflammatory cytokines, which results an increased molecules. However, stimulation reparative properties is also necessary. This viewpoint manuscript highlights possibilities priming increase MSCs.

A Review Study: Effect of Growth Factors on Human Mesenchymal Stem Cells Differentiation into Cartilage Tissue

Hyaline cartilage is a vascular and neural tissue with scanty chondrocytes and limited regenerative ability. After some serious injuries of the cartilage, healing process will take place through the formation of fibrocartilage structures. Currently, tissue engineering and cell therapy are 2 interesting therapeutic fields dealing with regenerative medicine. In this regard, tissue&...

Priming Mesenchymal Stem Cells with Endothelial Growth Medium Boosts Stem Cell Therapy for Systemic Arterial Hypertension

Systemic arterial hypertension (SAH), a clinical syndrome characterized by persistent elevation of arterial pressure, is often associated with abnormalities such as microvascular rarefaction, defective angiogenesis, and endothelial dysfunction. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), which normally induce angiogenesis and improve endothelial function, are defective in SAH. The central aim of this study ...

Growth factors in mesenchymal stem cells following glial-cell differentiation.

Schwann cells are essential facilitators of peripheral nerve regeneration following injury, as they provide physical support and guidance. In vitro these supporting cells are slow-growing and hence are not well suited to a tissue-engineering approach to nerve repair. We have differentiated rat bone-marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells into Schwann-cell-like cells using a cocktail of growth fac...
